Add Southern Flair to Your Wedding Design Using Fresh Cotton Boll Accents

Incorporate a touch of Southern heritage into your wedding design by adding accents of fresh cotton bolls to anything from bouquets and boutonnieres to centerpieces and place settings! Cotton can add a fresh garnish to any of your wedding day details and at less than $1.50 per boll, it is a beautiful and budget-friendly accent. Try pairing it with green and grey succulents and dark or natural woods for a crisp and eco-friendly look. You could even combine several long stems with a large beautiful vase for an easy do-it-yourself centerpiece that still makes a statement.

Here are some of my favorite looks:

Color plays a big part in the overall design of your wedding and can be the hardest detail to decide on. With the endless possibilities of complementary color combinations, it’s easy to become indecisive and overwhelmed. That’s why we love Colour Lovers, a website that not only provides you with color inspiration, trends and tips, but also allows you to play around with and customize a palette of your very own. Create several varieties to take along with you to the first consultation with your florist or designer. This will give them an idea of what your tastes are and get their creative juices flowing right off the bat so you can make the most out of your time together. Not getting married? Consider this tool for home decorating, rebranding and even fashion!

On the go? They have an app for that too…
